1986 - 2001
1986
Columbia Transport, Inc. located in Makati was established with three staff to specialize in exports to Rotterdam.
1987
Expanded other markets in Europe and Asia and secured non-exclusive agency agreements abroad to service the accounts.
1988
Increased export volume in Europe; was appointed as an IATA agent.
1989
Transferred to its new office in Coltrans Compound; accredited as forwarder in all Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
1990
Established Coltrans Branch in Cebu in a joint venture with Opascor. Appointed by Jet Air Services (JAS) of Italy with 108 offices worldwide.
1991
Streamlined operations and reset objectives.
1992
Participated in handling exhibitions; established Subic Bay Freeport-Coltrans Branch.
1993
Expanded other markets in Europe and Asia and secured non-exclusive agency agreements abroad to service the accounts.
1994
Increased capitalization to meet expansion requirements.
1995
Established Coltrans Exhibits, Inc. and JAS Coltrans Cebu; developed project cargo.
1996
Registered Clark Office; established JAS-Southernship Davao; secured Heavylift projects.
1997
Opened office in Bataan and Cavite.
1998
Established Coltrans Moving and Trucking Services.
1999
Purchased property for second warehouse and expanded the Head Office are; increased activities in exhibitions.
2000
Expanded operations in Subic, Laguna and Cavite for electronics and communications industry; appointed agent by Vietnam Airlines for passenger and cargo; established ColtransBatangas Office to handle heavylift project and general cargo.
